A good education has, is and will continue to remain the hallmark of a fine gentleman. No matter what age it was, a well educated person was usually considered the best possible candidate for success. This is the reason why governments all over the world continue to spend billions of dollars on providing their citizens with education. Especially in the knowledge economy we live in, a good basic education is absolutely essential for all levels of employees. And for most jobs, a Bachelors degree is often the minimum criteria for selection.
